Biography / Other Details

Dr Azhar Uddin Sahaji has earned his PhD from the Department of English, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Before joining Mahatma Gandhi Government College, Mayabunder, as an Assistant Professor of English in March 2026, he had taught at various colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi between 2018 and 2026. His research areas include translation, Translation Studies, Reception Studies, and Inter-Bhasha translation and/or translations within Modern /(or medieval) Indian Languages.  He has more than 10 publications to his credit and some of them figure in various prestigious journals in India and abroad.
